Bonn
hat neben dem
romanischen Münster verschiedene andere Kirchen,
ein
Rokoko-Rathaus, das
kurfürstliche Schloss (heute Universität) und das
Poppelsdorfer Schloss. Interessant sind weiterhin die Museen der
Stadt wie
das
Rheinische Landesmuseum, das
Museum König und die Museen an der
Museumsmeile. Bonn bietet sich auch als Zwischenstopp bei einer
Radtour am
Rhein
an.

Besides the Romanesque
Bonn Minster,
Bonn has several
other churches, a Rococo town hall, the former residential palace of the
prince-elector of Cologne (today the main building of
Bonn university),
and Poppelsdorf Castel. Other places of interest are the city’s museums
like the
Rhinish Regional Museum,
Museum Koenig and the museums
on the
museum
mile. Bonn is a nice place to spend a day when
cycling down
the Rhine. |
